INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
| *a | Component without harness connected (Hazard Warning Signal Switch (Radio Receiver Assembly)) | - | - |
Standard Resistance:
| Tester Connection | Condition | Specified Condition |
|---|---|---|
| B-10 (HAZ) - A-1 (GND1) | Hazard warning signal switch off | 10 MΩ or higher |
| Hazard warning signal switch on | Below 125 Ω |
If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch (radio receiver assembly).
(b) Hazard warning signal switch indicator inspection
| *a | Component without harness connected (Hazard Warning Signal Switch (Radio Receiver Assembly)) | - | - |
(1) Apply battery voltage to the hazard warning signal switch (radio receiver assembly) and check that the hazard warning signal switch indicator illuminates.
OK:
| Condition | Specified Condition |
|---|---|
| Battery positive (+) → B-11 (LJB) Battery negative (-) → A-1 (GND1) | Illuminates |
If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch (radio receiver assembly).
