INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUBASSEMBLY LH (FRONT DOOR AMBIENT ILLUMINATION LIGHT LH)

(a) Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the front door ambient illumination light LH comes on.

OK:

Battery positive (+) → 1 (+)

Battery negative (-) → 2 (-)

Always

Front door ambient illumination light LH comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the front door trim board sub-assembly LH.

2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUBASSEMBLY RH (FRONT DOOR AMBIENT ILLUMINATION LIGHT RH)

(a) Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the front door ambient illumination light RH comes on.
