DISASSEMBLY
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL CASE TAPERED ROLLER BEARING (FRONT SIDE)
| (a) Using SST, remove the differential case tapered roller bearing (front side inner race) from the differential case assembly. SST: 09950-00020 SST: 09950-00030 SST: 09950-60010 09951-00480 |
|
| (b) Using SST, remove the differential case tapered roller bearing (front side outer race) from the transaxle housing. SST: 09308-00010 |
|
2. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL CASE TAPERED ROLLER BEARING (REAR SIDE)
| (a) Using SST, remove the differential case tapered roller bearing (rear side inner race) from the differential case assembly. SST: 09950-00020 SST: 09950-00030 SST: 09950-40011 09957-04010 SST: 09950-60010 09951-00350 09951-00540 09952-06010 NOTICE: The differential case tapered roller bearing (rear side inner race) cannot be removed as is. Break the bearing cage and remove the bearing cage and rollers first, and then remove the differential case tapered roller bearing (rear side inner race). |
|
| (b) Using SST, remove the differential case tapered roller bearing (rear side outer race) and shim from the automatic transaxle case sub-assembly. SST: 09308-00010 |
|
3. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL
| (a) Using SST and a hammer, remove the transaxle case oil seal from the transaxle housing. SST: 09950-60010 09951-00550 SST: 09950-70010 09951-07200 |
|
4. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL RH
| (a) Using SST, remove the front drive shaft oil seal RH from the differential case assembly. SST: 09308-00010 |
|
5. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL LH
| (a) Using SST and a hammer, remove the front drive shaft oil seal LH from the automatic transaxle case sub-assembly. SST: 09950-60010 09951-00650 SST: 09950-70010 09951-07200 |

Lexus RX (RX 350L, RX450h) 2016-2026 Repair Manual > Automatic Transaxle System: Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance (P071000)
DESCRIPTION The ATF temperature sensor converts the automatic transaxle fluid (ATF) temperature into a resistance value for use by the ECM. The ECM applies a voltage to the temperature sensor through terminal THO1 of the ECM. The sensor resistance changes with the ATF temperature. As the temperature ...
