REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

2. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL LH

Click here

4. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Remove the 2 screws.

(c) Remove the 2 grommets. HINT: The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

(d) Remove the clip.

(e) Remove the 9 nuts and rear wheel house liner LH.

5. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply protective tape around the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disengage the claw.

Remove in this Direction

(c) Disengage the 4 guides to remove the fuel filler opening lid assembly as shown in the illustration.

6. REMOVE FUEL TANK CAP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the fuel tank cap assembly as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction

(b) Disengage the clamp to remove the fuel tank cap assembly.

7. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the fuel tank filler pipe shield as shown in the illustration.

(c) Remove the 4 screws.

(d) Remove the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction

(e) Push the fuel tank filler pipe shield and fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration.

(f) Pull the fuel tank filler pipe shield and fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration to remove them as a set.

(g) Remove the fuel inlet box ring from the fuel tank filler pipe shield.
