INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Apply 6.0 V (4 dry cell batteries in series) to the rear door outside handle assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

NOTICE:

Do not apply more than 6.0 V.

OK:

Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → 1 (OLP)

Battery negative (-) → 3 (GND)

Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear door outside handle assembly LH.

2. INSPECT REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Apply 6.0 V (4 dry cell batteries in series) to the rear door outside handle assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → 1 (OLP)

Battery negative (-) → 3 (GND)

Illuminates
