ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK AIR DUCT
(a) Check that there are no cracks or damage on the air ducts of the seat climate control blower and seatback climate control blower, and that the air ducts are installed correctly.
2. CHECK CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM
(a) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(b) Check that each seat climate control blower and seatback climate control blower operates when the refreshing seat switch (for front side) (blower position) is turned on.
(c) Check that the seat blower volume changes according to the operation of the refreshing seat switch (for front side) (blower position) as follows: HI → MID → LO.
(d) Set the refreshing seat switch (for front side) to AUTO and check that the seat heater and seat blower operate automatically according to the target outlet air temperature of the air conditioning system.
HINT:
- In AUTO mode, the target seat heater temperature and seat blower volume are controlled according to the target outlet air temperature of the air conditioning system.
- When the target outlet air temperature and the set temperature of the air conditioning system are the same, the seat heater and seat blower will stop operating. When the target outlet air temperature and set temperature of the air conditioning system are no longer the same, the operation of the seat heater or seat blower will resume.
