Lexus RX (RX 350L, RX450h) 2016-2026 Repair Manual: Rear Door Courtesy Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
HINT:
The rear door courtesy light switch is a collective term for the rear door courtesy light switch (for RH) and the rear door courtesy light switch (for LH).
The fold seat control ECU receives switch operation signals, the driving condition signal and rear door courtesy light switch assembly signal and operates the rear power seat according to these signals.

(a) for Rear RH Seat:
(1) Disconnect the x3 fold seat control ECU (rear RH seat) connector.
(2) Disconnect the R16 rear door courtesy light switch assembly (for RH) connector.
(b) for Rear LH Seat:
(1) Disconnect the y3 fold seat control ECU (rear LH seat) connector.
(2) Disconnect the S16 rear door courtesy light switch assembly (for LH) connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for Rear RH Seat
