REMOVAL
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
- The following procedure is for the LH side.
- The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the rear speed sensor is malfunctioning, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- If the rear speed sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

2. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER

3. SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE REAR DISC

5. SEPARATE REAR SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
| (a) Remove the bolt and separate the rear skid control sensor wire. |
|
| (b) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disconnect the rear skid control sensor wire connector from the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. |

6. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.

HINT:
- The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the rear speed sensor is malfunctioning, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- If the rear speed sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
