Replacement of yaw rate sensor assembly
  • Clear zero point calibration data
  • Perform yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration

Dynamic Torque Control AWD System

Calibration
  • VSC disabled or malfunctioning
  • DTCs are output
  • Slip indicator light illuminated
  • ABS warning light illuminated

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

3. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector from the yaw rate sensor assembly.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor assembly.

NOTICE:

  • Do not drop the yaw rate sensor assembly.
  • If the yaw rate sensor assembly is dropped, replace it with a new one.
