Based on the steering sensor signal, the power steering ECU assembly determines if the correct type of steering sensor is installed.

If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing, rotation angle sensor initialization and torque sensor zero point calibration.

When removing a related part to check it, be sure to follow the appropriate procedures and precautions.
HINT:
If DTC C1567 is output and parts have not been replaced, replace the power steering ECU assembly as it may have an internal malfunction.
