INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the operation of the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the fuel lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid lock with motor assembly operates smoothly as follows.

OK:

Connection

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

Unlock

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

Lock

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.

(2) Measure the shaft stroke.

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.
