INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SWITCH)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

1 (+B) - 10 (E)

Integration control and panel assembly (automatic high beam switch) off

1 MΩ or higher

Integration control and panel assembly (automatic high beam switch) on

Below 100 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (automatic high beam switch).

(b) Illumination Inspection

(1) Apply battery voltage to the integration control and panel assembly (automatic high beam switch) off and check that the switch illuminates.

OK:

Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 7 (ILL+)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 12 (ILL-)

Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (automatic high beam switch).
