OPERATION CHECK

(a) Turn the engine switch off.

(b) Connect the trailer connector to the towing socket connector.

(c) Check that the stop lights on the vehicle and trailer come on when the brake pedal is depressed.

(d) Check that the taillights on the vehicle and trailer come on when the taillights are turned on.

(e) Check that the hazard warning lights on the vehicle and trailer come on when the hazard warning switch is turned on.

(f) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(g) Check that the turn indicator lights on the vehicle and trailer come on when the turn indicator lights are turned on.

HINT:

When the Automatic Current Cut function activates, reset the towing converter system by operating the turn signal switches and brake pedal, and turning hazard warning switch and light control switch off then on.
