FRONT WIPER AND WASHER CONTROL FUNCTION

| Wiper speed regulation | Maintains the default speed of the wipers even when the supply voltage or resistance changes. |
| Door Open Linked Wiper Suspend Function (w/ Rain Sensor) | Stops the front wipers when the wiper switch assembly is in the AUTO position, the shift lever is in P and the driver door or front passenger door is open. HINT:

| Wiper speed HI to LO transition control | Smoothly controls the change in speed of the wipers when the wiper speed is switched from HI to LO. |
| Service position control | Stops the wipers at the top of their stroke when the windshield wiper switch assembly is held in the MIST position for 2 seconds or more within 42 seconds of turning the engine switch off. HINT:

| Engine hood interference damage reduction function |

| Self locking control | Holds the wipers in the park position when the engine switch is on (IG). |
| Maintenance position control | Stops the wipers at the half way point when the windshield wiper switch assembly is moved to the MIST position 6 times in 2 seconds within 42 seconds of turning the engine switch off. HINT: The maintenance position is used when performing work on the front suspension. |
| Protection mode | Monitors the current, speed and temperature of the front wiper motor in order to protect the system. HINT:

| MIST function | Operates the wipers in the LO setting when the windshield wiper switch assembly is held in the MIST position. |
| Auto operation | Operates the wipers as requested by the rain sensor when the windshield wiper switch assembly is set to the AUTO position. |
| Vehicle speed linked wiper intermittent operation control | Controls the delay of the wipers when the windshield wiper switch assembly is set to the INT position. HINT:

| Washer cooperation |
NOTICE: If the washer switch is operated for 40 seconds or more, operation of the washers is stopped to prevent burnout of the windshield washer motor, and the wipers return to the parked position. |
| Drip prevention wiper function | 3 seconds after washer cooperation completes, operates the wipers for 1 cycle to remove any washer fluid that has dripped out. HINT: This function only operates when the vehicle is stationary and does not operate at a vehicle speed of 4 km/h or more. |
| Vehicle stopped wiper control | If the vehicle is stopped and the windshield wiper switch assembly is switched to the LO setting, the wipers operate for 3 cycles and automatically enters intermittent operation with 2.5-second intervals. |
REAR WIPER AND WASHER CONTROL FUNCTION

| Intermittent wiper operation control | Operates the rear wiper once every 12 seconds when the rear wiper switch is turned to the INT position. |

| Headlight cleaner control (w/ Headlight cleaner system) | Headlight washer control operates the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly for 1 second to spray washer fluid from the headlight wiper actuator on the 5th time the washer switch is operated. |
| Washer fluid level low warning | Displays "Windshield Washer Fluid Low" on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly when the washer fluid level is low. |
