REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Turn back the front floor carpet assembly as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disengage the clamp.

(c) Disconnect the connector.

(d) Remove the 3 screws and blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

NOTICE:

  • Replace the blower motor with fan sub-assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
  • Do not apply excessive force to the blower motor with fan sub-assembly when removing it as it may be damaged.
