DESCRIPTION
The blind spot monitor sensor receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU via CAN communication.

NOTICE:
When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor system is turned on.
PROCEDURE
1. | CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM) |
(a) Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs.

OK:
Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.
NG | GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM |

2. | CHECK DTC |
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
