DESCRIPTION
When the clearance warning ECU assembly detects that the steering angle neutral point memorization is incomplete during self diagnosis, C1AEA is stored.

NOTICE:

After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

After replacing an ultrasonic sensor or the clearance warning ECU assembly, perform the necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration).

PROCEDURE
| 1. | PERFORM CALIBRATION |
(a) Perform steering angle neutral point memorization.

| 2. | CHECK FOR DTC |
(a) Using the Techstream, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.

(b) Clear the DTCs according to the screen on the Techstream.

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

HINT:
- If DTC C1AEA is output, perform steering angle neutral point memorization.
- If DTC C1AEA is still output after performing steering angle neutral point memorization 3 times, replace the clearance warning ECU assembly.
