INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 1 cylinder block insulator and 2 new O-rings.

(b) Install the oil cooler assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

Torque:

21 N·m {214 kgf·cm, 15 ft·lbf}

(c) Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose to the oil cooler assembly, and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

(d) Install the hose clamp with the nut.

Torque:

10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf}

2. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY LH

3. ADD ENGINE OIL

4. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
