INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEMICONDUCTOR POWER INTEGRATION ECU

(a) IG2 RELAY:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Condition

Specified Condition

B-1 - 1F-4

Battery voltage not applied between terminals 1E-1 and 1D-14

10 kΩ or higher

B-1 - 1G-3

B-1 - 1G-4

B-1 - 1F-4

Battery positive (+) → 1E-1

Battery negative (-) → 1D-14

Below 1 Ω

B-1 - 1G-3

B-1 - 1G-4

If the result is not as specified, replace the semiconductor power integration ECU.

(b) EFI-MAIN RELAY:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Battery voltage not applied between terminals 1G-6 and 1D-14

10 kΩ or higher

B-1 - 1G-2

B-1 - 1G-7

B-1 - 1G-8

1F-2 - 1G-1

Battery positive (+) → 1G-6

Battery negative (-) → 1D-14

Below 1 Ω

B-1 - 1G-2

B-1 - 1G-7

B-1 - 1G-8

1F-2 - 1G-1

If the result is not as specified, replace the semiconductor power integration ECU.

(c) A/F RELAY:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

If the result is not as specified, replace the semiconductor power integration ECU.

(e) H-LP LH-LO RELAY:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
