INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check the operation of the power back door switch (integration control and panel assembly).

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Power back door switch (integration control and panel assembly) not pushed

1 MΩ or higher

4 - 14

Power back door switch (integration control and panel assembly) pushed

Below 100 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door switch (integration control and panel assembly).

(Power Back Door Switch (Integration Control and Panel Assembly))

(b) Check that the switch illuminates.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the power back door switch (integration control and panel assembly) and check that the LED illuminates.

OK:

Battery Connection

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → 7

Battery negative (-) → 12

LED illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door switch (integration control and panel assembly).
