INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADUP DISPLAY SWITCH ASSEMBLY (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

5 (ILU) - 15 (CH)

Headup display switch pressed

Below 50 Ω

Headup display switch not pressed

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

(b) Illumination Inspection

(1) Apply battery voltage to the integration control and panel assembly and check that it illuminates.

OK:

Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 7 (ILL+)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 12 (ILL-)

Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.
