HINT:
- The warning notification function sends information to the service center through communication.
- Carefully confirm the conditions that caused the malfunction in order to determine if a temporary problem with the radio wave signal conditions caused the malfunction.

| 3. | CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM |
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Bus Check.
(e) Check that all ECUs and sensors that use CAN communication are connected.

| 4. | CHECK METER WARNING LIGHT |
(a) Check that the warning light of the combination meter assembly illuminates and a message displays on the multi-information display when there is a malfunction, and do not when there is not a malfunction.
OK:
There are no problems with warning lights or warning messages.
HINT:
The warning notification function of the telematics system uses the warning notification signals sent and received by the meter/gauge system. Therefore, if the meter/gauge system is not operating normally, the warning notification function will not operate normally.
