Lexus RX (RX 350L, RX450h) 2016-2026 Repair Manual: Remote Touch Screen Does not Generate Vibration Feedback
DESCRIPTION
When each button displayed on the multi-display assembly is selected via remote touch screen operation, the remote touch screen generates vibration feedback according to communication between the remote touch (remote operation controller assembly) and radio receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE
| 1. | CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY CUSTOMIZE SETTING |
(a) Check that the remote touch screen vibration feedback force customize setting is not set to "Off" on the multi-display assembly screen.
OK:
The remote touch screen vibration feedback force customize setting is not set to "Off".

| 2. | REMOTE TOUCH (REMOTE OPERATION CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY) SELF CHECK (CHECK VIBRATION FEEDBACK GENERATION CONDITION) |
(a) Enter self-diagnostic mode.

(b) Operate the remote touch screen laterally and check that the remote touch screen generates vibration feedback.
NOTICE:
Since the remote touch screen may recognize a pinch in/out or flick operation if operated with 2 fingers, always use 1 finger to operate the remote touch screen in self-diagnostic mode.
OK:
Remote touch screen generates vibration feedback.

(a) Replace the navigation ECU with a new one.
