While the vehicle is being driven at 5 km/h (4 mph) or more, a communication error between the ECM and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 6 seconds or more.

Lost Communication with Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module Missing Message
  • While the vehicle is being driven at 5 km/h (4 mph) or more, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 4 seconds or more.
  • While the vehicle is being driven at 5 km/h (4 mph) or more, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor assembly and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 4 seconds or more.

3 seconds or more after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the steering sensor and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 1 second or more.

3 seconds or more after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 1 second or more.

PROCEDURE

CHECK FOR DTCs

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Body Electrical > Pre-Collision System > Clear DTCs

(b) Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

HINT:

If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

(c) Check for DTCs.

Body Electrical > Pre-Collision System > Trouble Codes
